"I'd Do Anything" is the second single to be taken from Simple Plan's debut album No Pads, No Helmets... Just Balls. It features vocals from Mark Hoppus (formerly of blink-182 fame, now +44). I'd Do Anything is featured in "Buzz Cuts" a list of songs of the 30 best alternative rock songs. The song is mostly about a relationship breakup with a girlfriend and the desperate attempts to get her back. The music video for the song revolves around kids trying to get into a concert (featuring Simple Plan) by first impressing the doorman. Hoppus also features in the video. Hoppus tries to appear gay in the video with the lead singer of SP. The video was also a hit on MTV's Total Request Live. A demo version, called "Anything", with significantly different lyrics, also exists. (via Wikipedia)
